Who we are
This website is run by JRL Automotive, Unit 2, Stourbridge Road Industrial Estate, Spectrum Court, Faraday Drive, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, WV15 5BA. We are the controller of the personal information described below. If you have any questions about this notice or your information, email us at hello@jrlautomotive.example or call 07456 579283.
What we collect and why
We only collect personal information when you choose to contact us using the form on this website:
- your name and email address, so we can reply to you;
- your phone number, only if you choose to give it;
- your message, the type of enquiry and, if relevant, the car you're asking about.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and any follow-up conversation about it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries you send us, and, where you're asking about buying a car, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
How your enquiry is delivered
Messages sent through the form are delivered to our email inbox by an email delivery service (Resend), which processes the message on our behalf. Enquiries are not published on the website or stored in the website's database. To prevent abuse, the website temporarily keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for rate limiting; this cannot be used to identify you and is deleted within a few days.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting purchase, and then delete them in line with our normal record-keeping.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so we don't ask for cookie consent. The only cookie used is a strictly necessary sign-in cookie for the business owner's private admin area; it is never set for visitors browsing the website.
